Alright, I just was watching TVs American Idol, until I had to drag myself away from it. Not that I need another reason to hate television, but what is it about the sappy heartwarming stories that make them so popular?

I was just watching this 16 year old audition on the show. (I would post a video link if I could find one, but seeing as how the show is still going on right now...)

She sucked.

They say no.

She starts crying.

BITE ME! They have pills, and various operations for that type of thing now. And don't go telling me that you can't afford it. There's all sorts of donations going out to these people all the time. Just go on Maury and you'll get enough sympathy money to pay for the operations plus a weeks vacations for your whole family to HAWAII!!

I'm getting off track here. My point is the stupid 16 year old. She played football for crying out loud! I'm sorry, but if you're dream is to win American Idol at 16 and you're all heartbroken about it, THAN YOU NEED TO STOP WATCHING TV! Maybe a good enough hit over the head will do you some good to!

You're still in high school! (Not saying that people in high school can't accomplish anything, you'd be surprised.) But what makes you so worthy of being a top singer? Or top ANYTHING for that matter? I'm the kind of person that believes that people should work to get to wherever they are! Sure, it might be unfair for some, but I hate it when people get to the top w/o doing anything! Not only is it cheap, you're missing out on the human/life skills it TAKES to get there anyways!

Maybe I'm being insensitive, but WHO GIVES A FUCK?!
