Having looked through what was once an OLD artist friend of mine, I'm disgusted by the fact that even after a year, they have the same chibi anime bullshit style they did when I knew them. I have seen quite a few artists get away with this, and in all honesty, it pisses me of just a tad bit. Artists like this -> (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/foxytangerine) sicken me and make me want to puke, not only for the fact that all their art is the same ol crap again and again, but the fact that it's popular as fuck. People are willing to dish out ridiculous amounts of money for this no talent hack artist to draw shit stained little anime kawaii kissy kissy big eyes versions of their characters, that all they would have to do to make one themselves is change hair and skin color. And before any of you go ape shit on me, go through the artists gallery, and go a few pages back int their gallery? Notice anything? It's all the same fucking shit.

I'm fucking pissed off that no talent artists get all the fucking commissions they can choke on, and yet I can't even sell a conbadge with the works for a pathetic 5 bucks. But of course I know the reason why... It's because they spam the shit outta their name on other peoples gawd damn userpage. Something that I DO NOT TOLERATE on my own.

So chances are that I wont be making it out to Califur, no biggie. I shouldn't have got all excited about it. But I'm actually thinking about being a dealer at some con. I had wished I could do it at Califur, because I don't really know anyone going there so it was just going to be my 'fuck around and do some badges for $$' con. But seeing as how thats out of the question really, and AFF is a bloody hell NO, I'm considering dealing at RainFurrest with WhiteFalcon perhaps. Because it would help get my name out in the furry art world a bit, AND I could actually make some money off of it, which is really why I wanna do it. It would probably be pretty fun too, I wouldn't be overworking myself with 20 commissions at once or anything like that and I can crank them out at a pretty descent pace I think. I was thinking that it would kinda suck because I would be loosing out a lot on hanging out with friends, but I think being a dealer would have it's own joys. It's just something I'd like to do at least once. :)

So considering that I'd be throwing in free lamination and clip, I was thinking about doing badges for about 10-15$. What you guys think? My art can be found here

So we had just one glowstick laying around the house and since it wasn't in the freezer I figured it was a dud or something. So just out of curiosity and party instint I cracked open the glowstick and it turned to blue.

Then Raven found it and pretended to be sad for a moment, joking that he was saving it, I know it was really nothing and he was just being cute about it, but it makes me want to get more glowsticks for him now. =3 I just love my Raven so much! <3

On a more positive note, I really hope that I get this random stimulus check in the mail that people are speaking about. I'm not really holding my breath for 600$ or anything, but it is kinda exciting.

I'm more than likely going to just give it all to Raven & Mazrim evenly. If not, at least give them most of it and buy a bunch of stuff for the house. Because... What am I going to do with 600$? I'm already so indecisive over just 100$, how would I manage 6x that amount? I might try to pay off some dept, maybe give a lil to my mom. Inno. I am just enjoying the thoughts of good that I can do with this money. 'Cept for maybe buying a printer... but there so expensive... >,< Because in all honesty, if I had to spend it on myself I would just like to get a fursuit partial or something, and I don't think you can get a good one for under 1K.... *sigh* :(

Well I called back the place again today but go figure the manager whom I spoke with wasn't in. I'll have to wait till tomorrow. Arg.

But yeah, I want to do something fun. Go out and do something that is relatively inexpensive with my friends. I miss my friend from out of the area too. I got to talk with Sabur the other night on IM for a moment, he deleted his LJ account for the fact that he never used it anyways. He's been really busy with college fun stuff but we hope he can come to visit soon again, if not then when when he gets out of schoolin this summer.

Theres something that I've been kinda wanting to try recently. Don't think too much into it, but I wanna try 'dumpster diving' of sorts. Not for food mind you. But just to see what misc furniture or random crap I might be able to find. It just kinda sounds fun. I wouldn't do it by myself, I'd be too nervous. But of course I'm not going to be diving head first into smell dumpsters, I just want to see what good ol freebies are left out behind thrift stores and apartment complexes.

I know I really don't NEED some furniture n things, but I dunno, I just wanna be able to see what I can get really I guess... =/

Not to mention that the job I'm applying for right now will have me basically cleaning peoples old throw aways anywho... XD

So I went to see Ironman today, good movie.
Came home to see that Lupercus has tried contacting me through IM while I was gone. Made me emo face. :'(

Iron Man review (no spoilers)

So Raven took me out today to see Iron Man.

Not being a fan of the original comics/animation or even having so much of an understanding other than a guy in a mini mech suit flys around and beating baddies, I still greatly enjoyed this movie. A tech nerds wet dream.

The movie started off and I was about to start nit picking about the 'realism' in the movie when a man can create super advanced technology while in a fucking cave in the middle of Afghanistan with spare parts. But then I remembered that this was a Marvel movie. It's not all about making exact sense, it's about cool super heroes and saving the innocent from the evil baddies and cool special effects while your doing it all. And it did a good job at all of that. So the only criticism I can really give Iron Man is that it was too short because I was enjoying it so much. One thing that I did somewhat appreciate in this movie is that they didn't include much of a love interest for our hero, so he didn't have to go out of his way and make that 'save a buss full of innocence or save your girlfriend' type bullshit I hate. I don't know how fanboys of the original Iron Man will take this movie, but as just a random consumer whore I give it two thumbs up!

Oh yeah, and your an idiot if you don't keep watching till after the end credits.
